Nord Open Air 2014

Nord Open Air 2014 / Friday Part 1

Running Order Friday:

Dr. Reudlon
Biohazard
The Brains
Crossplane
Peter Pan Speedrock
The Real McKenzies
Sick Of It All

The last rain dripped while Biohazard performed, after that no other meteorological hazards were noticed. Crossplane increased the propotion of females on stage from zero to a four-headed cheerleading squad. Some fellas needed an extra drink for sure as one gal dropped her costume for some teasing...that was only a sneak peek of nudity, later the The Real McKenzies showed us what they wore under their kilts...nothing.
Due to the high-quality of the line-up they stopped the entrance quite early, so Sick Of It All had a great view over a filled square.

Nord Open Air 2014

So we´re already in the middle of the open air season and I´m sure many of us have to recover after the sweat-inducing Rock Hard Festival...

Another popular festival will take place next month, needless to say it´s the Nord Open Air!
Unfortunately Death Angel cancelled their summer tour, sadly this is one of the cancelled dates.
Instead Dew-Scented will appear just as Biohazard, DAD, Sick Of It All, Tankard and many other bands;

As usual this festival is for free, so please support it and buy your drinks there!

Only had time to visit the event on Friday, but today the party continues. On Sunday only the tattoo convention is open!

So guess who´s offering Orchid merch while waiting for tattoo customers?
Theo Mindell of course!

I think I´m back to the main topic of this blog with this one...

Vandenberg´s MoonKings / Turock

Vandenberg´s MoonKings / Turock, Essen 12.04.2014

Adrian Vandenberg and his new companions stopped in Essen and delighted their audience with an atmospheric show.

From the viewpoint of a photographer yesterday´s show was a tough smoke challenge.
Sometimes less is more :-)
